Today we’ll talk about how to cook batter-fried squid. Such an original appetizer will be good for any meal. The pleasant crunch and aroma of seafood will not leave you indifferent!
We wash the carcasses of peeled squid in cool water. Pour water into a saucepan, put it on fire. Bring to a boil. We throw salt and our precious squids into boiling water for three minutes. Cut the boiled and cooled carcasses into rings.
In a bowl, mix water and flour. Add salt and butter, mix the mass. Beat the whites separately until a fluffy, foamy consistency. We add them to the dough. Dip our squid rings in batter.
For frying, I chose a cauldron. Pour more oil into it, put it on fire. In boiling oil, fry the rings on both sides for three minutes.
Festive squid dish is ready to eat! Guests will definitely appreciate this menu option.
