Clean squids and wash very well. Cut the arms into small pieces and the body into rings.
Grate the onions and heat them with the crushed garlic in the oil. Add the peppers cut into strips and the squid. Let steam for approx. 5 minutes. Then add the skinned, sliced tomatoes, chopped parsley, bay leaves and the wine. Season with salt and pepper and simmer until the squid and vegetables are cooked through and the sauce has reduced a little.
