Peel the onions, cut eighths lengthways and braise them in 1 tablespoon oil for 8-10 minutes. Add the sugar and let it caramelize. Deglaze with the broth, stir in the sour cream and season with salt and pepper. Add the marjoram and simmer for another 3-4 minutes.
Cut the minute steaks into strips. Heat the remaining oil, fry the meat in it over a high heat for 3 minutes, season with salt and pepper and serve with the sauce.
This is served with mashed potatoes and a green salad.
