Instructions

  1. Drain the cherries. Stir the pudding powder with 3 tablespoons of cherry juice until smooth. Now bring the remaining cherry juice to the boil with 40 g sugar and stir in the mixed pudding powder. Let simmer for about 1 minute. Then fold in the cherries, except for a few to decorate, and let the compote cool.
  2. Mix the mascarpone with sour cream, quark, orange flavor, vanilla sugar and the rest of the normal sugar until smooth. Roughly chop the chocolate and melt over a hot water bath. Then put it in a freezer bag and cut off a small corner. Sprinkle a few strips of chocolate on top of the cream and fold in. Repeat this process until the chocolate is used up. Alternatively, you can stir in the same amount of chocolate sprinkles.
  3. For serving, layer cherry compote and cream in a dessert bowl for approx. 1.5 l and decorate with a few cherries.
