Instructions

  1. Mix the custard powder with 3 tablespoons of the sugar. Then stir this with at least 6 tablespoons of the milk until smooth.
  2. Then bring the rest of the milk to the boil, remove it from the hob and stir in the mixed powder with a whisk. Then put the pudding on the hob again and let it cook for at least 1 minute while stirring.
  3. Put the pudding in a mixing bowl. To prevent skin from forming, place cling film directly on the hot pudding. Let the pudding cool.
  4. When all of this is done, wash the strawberries, drain them, remove the stems and cut them into small pieces, sprinkle with the remaining sugar and flavor and let them steep.
  5. Then roughly chop the amarettini.
  6. Mix the cooled pudding with a hand mixer (whisk) until creamy. Layer alternately strawberries, amarettini and pudding in glasses. Garnish with crumbled amarettini or strawberry halves if you like.
