Instructions

  1. This recipe is designed for 2 liters of iced tea.
  2. First you boil 500 ml of black tea and fill it in a carafe. I like to take 2 tea bags so that the taste is more intense. You can also vary the brewing time depending on the desired intensity of the tea taste. I always let the bags pull for about 5 minutes.
  3. Then you wash a lemon thoroughly and cut it into slices or cubes. I recommend taking an organic lemon from Germany and brushing it off with a vegetable brush. You certainly don`t want pesticides or the like in your iced tea. The lemon slices are then placed in the still hot and finished black tea. Let the lemon-tea mixture cool down, I like to put it in the fridge overnight after about 30 minutes.
  4. After everything has cooled down, add strawberry syrup. At 6 tablespoon the iced tea becomes quite sweet, so for those who don`t like it that sweet, I recommend using about 4 tablespoon syrup.
  5. Finally, fill up your tea, syrup and lemon mixture with chilled mineral or tap water. With sparkling water, your iced tea will be nice and tangy.
  6. Then pour into beautiful glasses and put ice cubes in - the strawberry-lemon iced tea is ready!
