Instructions

  1. Clean and quarter the strawberries and place in a bowl.
  2. Core the nectarines, cut into pieces, transfer to the bowl.
  3. Cut the dates into small cubes in the bowl.
  4. Add lemon juice and stir well.
  5. Put the mixture in a saucepan, add all of the preserving sugar, sugar and citric acid - stir well and bring to the boil.
  6. Then simmer on reduced heat for about 8-10 minutes (a little longer than normal because of the different types of sugar).
  7. Now pour the hot mixture into small glasses (twist off), close immediately and allow to cool.
  8. The cellar is still ideal for storage.
