- Clean and quarter the strawberries and place in a bowl.
- Core the nectarines, cut into pieces, transfer to the bowl.
- Cut the dates into small cubes in the bowl.
- Add lemon juice and stir well.
- Put the mixture in a saucepan, add all of the preserving sugar, sugar and citric acid - stir well and bring to the boil.
- Then simmer on reduced heat for about 8-10 minutes (a little longer than normal because of the different types of sugar).
- Now pour the hot mixture into small glasses (twist off), close immediately and allow to cool.
- The cellar is still ideal for storage.
