Instructions

  1. Clean and rinse the cherry tomatoes. Peel off the onion and the clove of garlic. Clean the chilli, cut lengthways, core and rinse. Wash and clean the strawberries. Dice everything separately.
  2. Heat the oil in a saucepan and sauté the onion and garlic cubes in it. Then add the tomato, strawberry and chilli cubes, curry powder, star anise, bay leaf as well as the soy sauce and balsamic vinegar and let everything simmer over a medium heat for about 40 minutes while stirring.
  3. Then remove the star anise and the bay leaf, puree the mix and simmer for another 30 minutes. Season to taste with a little salt, fill into bottles, close and chill.
  4. For 2 bottles of approx. 350 ml each.
