• 250 g strawberries, small fresh ones
• 700 ml cognac or brandy
• 250 g rock candy, white

Instructions

1. Halve fresh, small strawberries and then fill a bulbous bottle with the rock sugar (coarse granulated sugar is also possible). Pour cognac over it until the bottle is 98% full, then place the bottle in a cool, dark place (not in the refrigerator!) For about 3 weeks and then taste.
