Clean and quarter the strawberries. Shake out the elderflower umbels (do not wash!) And divide into small flowers.
Prepare the fruits and flowers with the white wine, elderflower syrup and strawberry lime in a punch glass. Larger elder branches can be removed before serving. Pour in sparkling wine and garnish with fresh mint or lemon balm.
The elderflowers float like little stars on the punch and look simply beautiful with the red strawberries and the green leaves.
