When there is no opportunity or desire to use the oven to cook a sponge cake, the owners of a multicooker can easily cope with baking. Making a sponge cake in a multicooker is as easy as shelling pears!
Beat eggs at room temperature into a bowl. Pour sugar.
We grind everything with a spoon for 30 minutes. Add one tablespoon of water every three minutes.
Pour flour into our container, mix everything. Only at the very end, we add baking powder.
Pour a coffee plate of sliced strawberries into the dough.
We grease the multicooker container with vegetable oil. Pour the dough into it.
We bake a biscuit. If you have a cake preparation function in your multicooker menu, then 30 minutes should be enough. If not, select the “Fry” program. The approximate cooking time is 45 minutes. It all depends on the power of the unit. We check the readiness with a toothpick. If the dough is raw, add a few more minutes.
Let the biscuit cool completely.
In this case, we just sprinkled the sponge cake with powdered sugar and garnished with strawberries.
