Instructions

  1. Drain the sour cherries, collecting the juice. Mix the Mondamin with about 5-6 tablespoon of the juice. Bring 250 ml of cherry juice and 100 g of sugar to the boil. Slowly stir in the mixed Mondamin. Let it cook until it is dressed. Then add the cherries and fold in. Don`t let it boil anymore and let the mixture cool down.
  2. Mix the butter, 150 g sugar and egg yolks until frothy. Add flour and baking powder and work into crumble. Press about half of the crumbles for the base and edge into a springform pan (26 cm) - the edge does not need to be pulled up very much. Put the lukewarm or cold cherry mixture on the base and top with the remaining crumble.
  3. Bake the cake in the preheated oven at 180 ° C until it is golden brown.
  4. Sprinkle icing sugar on the cooled cake as desired.
