Instructions

  1. Stuffed peppers:
  2. Bring a strong meat broth to the boil with instant powder and water in a larger saucepan.
  3. Season the minced meat vigorously with salt and pepper and add a little paprika powder if necessary, mix well with the uncooked rice and knead a firm mass.
  4. Cut a lid from the peppers on the side of the stem, remove the seeds and the inner walls. Pour in the minced meat mixture and press firmly. Cook in the meat stock for about 45 minutes to an hour, the rice must be soft.
  5. Tomato sauce:
  6. Bring the tomato juice to a boil with a cup of meat stock and season with pepper and tomato paste.
  7. Mashed potatoes:
  8. Peel and boil the potatoes and mash them together with a dash of milk, a little butter and a little salt and pepper.
