Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to approx. 200 c °. Gently fry the minced meat in olive oil. Chop the onion very finely and add to the minced meat. Do not fry the onion on its own beforehand so that it does not burn.
  2. While the meat is sizzling gently, wash the zucchini, cut in half lengthways and hollow out. The best way to do this is to cut the inner edge of the zucchini with a sharp knife and then scrape the inside with a teaspoon. Please be careful not to damage the bottom of the zucchini. Leave a margin at both ends. Finely chop the pulp of the zucchini and add to the meat, pour some water, cover the pan and let it steam until soft. Not too long so that the zucchini don`t get mushy, they should keep a bit of bite. Add a little tomato paste, season with cayenne pepper, salt and thyme.
  3. Salt and pepper the hollowed out zucchini, place in a greased dish and fill with the mixture. Cover the pan with aluminum foil and put it in the preheated oven. Bake for about 30 minutes, then remove the foil, spread a little sour cream on the zucchini, cover with cheese and bake open.
  4. If you want, you can of course also prepare the recipe with lots of garlic! I usually have basmati rice with it. Enjoy the meal!
