Dice the bacon and fry in a coated pan (without oil), then add the bread cubes and let them fry.
Dress up the salad with oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic, salt and pepper and at the end sprinkle with the bread and bacon cubes and serve immediately.
Tip: Boiled potatoes also go very well with it (just cut into small pieces at the end and fold in). The salad also tastes good with apple cider vinegar, of course.
