Dice the pumpkin flesh, sauté with chopped onion and crushed garlic in hot oil. Deglaze with broth, add spices. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes, then puree with a blender.
Stir in sour cream, puree briefly, simmer for another 2 minutes, season to taste again. Mix up again briefly. Garnish with chives and drizzle with pumpkin seed oil and serve.
