Instructions

  1. Mix the flour, dry yeast, salt and sugar together dry. Add the oil with the lukewarm water.
  2. Knead with the food processor for 5 minutes on the highest setting; or knead vigorously by hand for 10 minutes. The dough should feel light, dry and powdery! Depending on whether the dough is too firm or too soft, carefully add tablespoonful of water or flour and knead in.
  3. After kneading, take the dough in your hand and squeeze out small balls of dough upwards between your thumb and forefinger.
  4. Place the ball of dough on the worktop to shape. The top of the dough should be at the bottom. Place the cupped hand L O C K E R over the ball of dough and shape into a roll in circular movements.
  5. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and let rise in a warm place under a cloth until they are about twice their original size.
  6. Preheat the stove to 200 degrees.
  7. Beat the egg with a little water and brush the rolls with it. If you want, you can sprinkle them with poppy seeds, sesame seeds, cheese.
  8. When the temperature in the stove is reached, pour a large cup of water into the drip pan or on the bottom of the stove and immediately place the rolls on the middle rack.
  9. Bake for about 15-20 minutes and let the finished rolls cool on a wire rack.
