Melt the butter and let it cool down a bit. Beat the eggs in a bowl, add the milkmaid and butter and stir. Then mix in the flour and baking powder.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and smooth the dough on it. Bake the dough in a preheated oven at 160 ° C (convection) for approx. 10-15 minutes. It should stay light, so be careful!
Put a clean kitchen towel on the table, sprinkle a little sugar on it. Turn the finished roulade with the parchment paper onto the cloth (the parchment paper is on top). Then peel off the baking paper and roll up the dough immediately using the cloth.
Let the whole thing cool for 5 - 10 minutes, roll out, spread with jam and roll up again. Let the finished roulade cool down and decorate as desired.
