This is a possibility, e.g. to give away a funny and tasty voucher.
You need a flower pot, dia 23 cm, an artificial flower, e.g. gerbera.
First bake a cocoa sponge cake (there are many recipes in the database) and let it cool down. That can happen a day in advance, then it is really well dried out.
Put the cherries in a sieve and collect the juice. Bring this to the boil briefly, thicken with cornstarch and add the cherries again. Let cool down. Stir the quark with sugar or sweetener until smooth and whip the cream with the cream stiffener. Add the cream to the quark. Put the mandarins in a colander as well. Crumble the sponge cake base.
Clean the pot with aluminum foil and / or cling film and wrap it tightly (I always use both) so that no moisture can escape. Now always layer quark and fruit alternately.
Place the voucher well protected from moisture, e.g. by using foils or small bags, preferably on the floor. Also stick the artificial flower (s) into the mass, wrapping the stem with foil so that it is not visible.
The crumbled dough should also be layered to absorb excess moisture. Finally, cover everything with a thick layer of breadcrumbs. The foils from knocking out the pot must be shortened so that they cannot be seen under the earth either.
A wide variety of ingredients can be used for filling. For example, groats or jelly cut into cubes (I always prepare blue cubes from the glacier cake recipe from pueppi2. That`s a blast because of the look) or eggnog thickened with gelatine or, or, or.
It is also possible, for example, to give away jewelry or messages in the plastic eggs of the children`s surprise eggs. There are no limits to your imagination.
As a gag we have already snapped off the flower really nicely. Some did not even notice that it was crumbs of dough and not earth and accordingly tried the whole thing over cautiously. In any case, this pot was always well received.
