Instructions

  1. Wash the potatoes and cook with the skin on. If you use small potatoes that have no eyes or shoots, you can leave the peel on after cooking and cut the potatoes in half or quarter (depending on the size). When the potatoes are cut, add salt (please add gradually and season to taste!), Sugar and pepper (use as required) over the potatoes.
  2. Then cut the cucumber and apple into cubes and add. Finally, roughly chop the salmon, add the chopped or frozen dill and mix with Miracle Whip. You can also use sour cream or mayonnaise instead of Miracle Whip. The salad is more digestible but fat-reduced.
  3. The salad is ideal for New Year`s Eve, Easter, as a light main meal or for a buffet. The whole thing can be eaten immediately, with the potatoes still warm, but tastes better if the salad soaks in the refrigerator for 3 hours beforehand. Season if necessary before serving, as the potatoes absorb a lot of salt.
  4. Tip: You can usually buy small potatoes in bulk. Since potatoes grow rather small in origin, the small varieties are often better in taste and are of better quality.
