Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan and add the cinnamon and sugar. Stir in the rice and raisins and keep stirring so that the rice doesn`t stick to the bottom. Put the lid on the saucepan and simmer gently on the lowest setting for 25-30 minutes.
Season the rice with butter and cinnamon sugar and serve.
Tip: The rice tastes best when you let it cool down and then briefly brown it in butter.
