Instructions

  1. Put the ingredients for the dough, except for the cocoa powder and 1 egg, in a bowl and stir with the mixer. Divide the dough in half. Mix one half with the cocoa. One egg will be needed later and can be stirred in a cup.
  2. Pour the light-colored dough into mini muffin tins and bake at 180 degrees fan-assisted (or 200 degrees top / bottom heat) for 10-15 minutes. 1 - 2 minutes before the end of the baking time, take out the muffins, brush with the egg and sprinkle with some coconut flakes. (They are supposed to represent the sesame seeds of the bun). Bake ready. Let cool down.
  3. Put the chocolate dough on a baking sheet and bake at 180 degrees as well. Let cool down.
  4. Decoration:
  5. First cut through the muffins, simply cut off a lid from the top.
  6. Mix the coconut flakes with the green food coloring. That should be the salad on the burger later. Put aside.
  7. Roll out the yellow fondant and cut into 2.5 - 3 cm squares. That’s the cheese on the burger later.
  8. Use a cookie cutter to cut circles out of the chocolate dough that are the same dia as the muffins. These circles are said to be the flesh.
  9. Mix some powdered sugar with a little water. This works as an adhesive. Glue the chocolate circles onto the lower halves of the burger with the powdered sugar glue.
  10. Glue the fondant squares onto the chocolate circles with the icing sugar glue.
  11. Now mix some powdered sugar with the red food coloring. This is supposed to be the ketchup. Spread the red sauce on each burger. The green-colored coconut flakes are now spread over the sauce for each burger.
  12. Finally, glue the top half of the burger back on with a little powdered sugar. Finished.
