Mix the quark, mascarpone, sugar and the pulp of the vanilla pods to a cream. Crumble the amarettini (one pack for a small pack, half a pack for a large pack, otherwise it will be too sweet) and drain the cherries (keep the juice to drizzle over the crumbs).
Then place them in layers in a large bowl in the following order: quark (at the very bottom), cherries, crumbs, quark, cherries, crumbs, quark. Sprinkle the whole with cocoa powder.
