Instructions

  1. Rub the lime peel and squeeze out the juice. Peel the carrots and sweet potatoes and cut into cubes. Peel the onion and cut into rings. Cut the spring onions into rings.
  2. Heat 2 teaspoons of oil in a pan and sauté carrots, diced sweet potatoes and onion rings for about 5 minutes. Season with chili powder, cumin, turmeric and lime juice. Deglaze with broth, cover and cook over medium heat for approx. 10-12 minutes, season with salt and brown sugar and allow to cool. Add spring onions and season with salt and chili powder.
  3. Pat the beef steaks dry and cut into cubes. Press the garlic. For the steak skewers, mix beef steaks with garlic, remaining oil, lime zest, curry powder and salt and stick on skewers. Fry in a pan for about 5 minutes on all sides or grill on the grill.
  4. Serve beef steak skewers and sweet potato salad garnished with coriander if desired.
