Instructions

  1. Melt the butter, add milk. Crumble the yeast cube in the lukewarm liquid and dissolve in it. Beat the egg, sugar, vanilla sugar and flavoring with the mixer. Mix the flour with the pinch of salt and the custard powder and stir in. Now knead everything with the yeast mixture into a smooth dough. Cover and put in a warm place (I always set the oven to around 30 ° C and let the dough rise there) for around 45 minutes. Knead the dough again with a little flour on the floured worktop until it no longer sticks and you can process it well.
  2. Shape rolls (I always make them about 70 g heavy) and place on baking sheets lined with baking paper. Let rise again for about 1/2 to 3/4 hours. Bake at 180 - 200 ° C hot air for about 10 minutes. Do not bake too dark, otherwise they will be dry in no time.
