Chop the onions into small pieces, quarter the cherry tomatoes and wash the rocket. Cook the pasta in salted water to taste.
Meanwhile, heat a little olive oil in a pan and fry the onion in it. When the onion pieces are translucent, add the tomatoes and let simmer, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. After a few minutes add the cherry tomatoes and leave on the stove until the noodles are cooked through, seasoning if necessary.
Finally, add the sauce to the pasta in the saucepan and mix with the rocket. Sprinkle with parmesan if you like before serving.
