Instructions

  1. Peel onion and garlic and chop finely.
  2. Heat half of the oil in a pan and fry the minced meat for 5 minutes over medium heat while stirring. Then pour into a colander to drain the fat.
  3. Now heat the remaining oil in the pan and sauté the onions with the garlic, cumin and cayenne pepper for 5 minutes. Add the minced meat again and fry for another 5 minutes.
  4. Peel the red onion and cut into rings. Wash and quarter the tomatoes, cut the cheese into narrow strips. Wash the lettuce and cut into bite-sized pieces.
  5. Arrange on four plates and top with the minced meat. Garnish with onions, tomatoes and strips of cheese. Crumble the tortilla chips over it and pour 2 tablespoons of the salsa over each serving. Mix the lime juice and olive oil together and drizzle over them.
  6. The minced meat served on the salad also looks very decorative.
