Instructions

  1. Because of the bad salmonella we didn`t make tiramisu for a long time - until this recipe came up:
  2. Egg liqueur is used instead of eggs and other alcohol (substitute liquid), it tastes amazingly Italian!
  3. So for a large portion I use the following:
  4. Beat the mascarpone (the cheapest is sometimes a bit dry), eggnog and powdered sugar until creamy.
  5. Pour the espresso into a deep plate (it will get cold more quickly).
  6. Line the bottom of a large dish with ladyfingers dipped briefly in the espresso, cover with the cream and repeat until everything is all gone. Finish with cream.
  7. Then chill for at least 1 hour and dust with cocoa shortly before serving (not Kaba). You can decorate the individual portions with these small amaretto biscuits or coffee beans.
  8. Tip: If there are no sponge fingers, a cake base (preferably already cut open) is also an option.
  9. Pro: Delicious (overeating warning!)
  10. Cons: Not everyone likes the calories (those bad guys!), Coffee and alcohol, mascarpone is expensive.
