Instructions

  1. Steam the onion cubes in 20g butter until translucent, add the mushrooms and let simmer briefly. Now pour in the cream, briefly bring to the boil and reduce a little and season everything with salt, pepper and parsley.
  2. It used to be thickened with cornstarch, but I think it works very well that way.
  3. Toast the toast in the toaster, brush with the remaining butter and top with the slice of ham. Then come the mushrooms, which are covered with the slice of cheese. Then briefly bake the whole thing in the grill or oven until the cheese has melted.
  4. Garnish with cranberries and parsley.
  5. This is a recipe from the 70s, there was the obligatory dollop of ketchup on it, so if you love ketchup, go ahead.
