Instructions

  1. Wash the tomatoes, remove the stalk, cut the tomatoes into eighths and place in a bowl. Wash the cucumbers thoroughly, if you bought them, cut them into half slices with the peel and add. Peel the shallot, cut into rings and add.
  2. Wash the herbs, if they are fresh, and finely chop them. But you can also use dried salad herbs. Here`s a tip: First put the salad herbs and spices in a blender jar, then add the vinegar and let it work for 2 - 3 minutes. Then add the oil, mustard, milk and sugar or sweetener. Beat the dressing vigorously, this will make the dried herbs taste a little fresher and the dressing will be a little thicker.
  3. Add the dressing to the tomatoes and cucumber. Chop the mozzarella. I cut it in half slices and cut them in half again. Carefully fold in the mozzarella and let the salad stand for about half an hour.
  4. Baguette bread or rolls go well with this.
