Instructions

  1. Finely puree the tomatoes with the salt and 4 tablespoons of preserving sugar. Allow the mixture to drain through a cheesecloth in a bowl for about 24 hours.
  2. Measure out 1 liter of tomato juice and mix with the vanilla sugar and the remaining preserving sugar. Bring to the boil and let it simmer for 4 minutes. Fill into jars and close.
