Wash the tomatoes and use a sharp knife to remove the stalk in a wedge shape. Score the skin in a cross shape and briefly put the tomatoes in boiling water. After that, the tomatoes can be easily peeled.
If you want, you can cut out the housing, then you won`t have any seeds in the juice afterwards. I always leave them in.
Now cut the tomatoes into small pieces and mix with the sea salt. Bring to the boil and cook for about 3 minutes until the pieces start to crumble.
Now use the hand blender to process the tomatoes into a juicy puree. Let simmer for another 4 minutes.
Pour the juice into well-cleaned twist off glasses or bottles and close tightly immediately.
This basic juice is suitable for juices, sauces and soups and has a shelf life of at least one year.
