Instructions

  1. Wash the tomatoes and use a sharp knife to remove the stalk in a wedge shape. Score the skin in a cross shape and briefly put the tomatoes in boiling water. After that, the tomatoes can be easily peeled.
  2. If you want, you can cut out the housing, then you won`t have any seeds in the juice afterwards. I always leave them in.
  3. Now cut the tomatoes into small pieces and mix with the sea salt. Bring to the boil and cook for about 3 minutes until the pieces start to crumble.
  4. Now use the hand blender to process the tomatoes into a juicy puree. Let simmer for another 4 minutes.
  5. Pour the juice into well-cleaned twist off glasses or bottles and close tightly immediately.
  6. This basic juice is suitable for juices, sauces and soups and has a shelf life of at least one year.
