Instructions

  1. Put vinegar, oil, Tabasco, honey (I personally prefer a honey with a stronger taste like chestnut honey), salt and pepper in a salad bowl. Add the lime zest and juice and stir. Cut half a bunch of chives into small pieces and add. Cut the green cress from the peeled bed and add it, dice the onion and add it with the finely chopped garlic. Cut the tomatoes into wedges (if they are ripe, divide them into 8 pieces, if not, thin pieces so that it permeates better), mix and let stand for 30 minutes so that the salad can steep.
  2. Tastes good with pan-fried or grilled food.
  3. Tips: You can also add some cheese that has been diced, e.g., Eat feta or a medium-aged Gouda cheese and the salad with a good farmer`s bread.
  4. Vegetarians use smoked tofu instead, diced and lightly roasted.
  5. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds on top of both versions before consumption.
