Heat the olive oil in a saucepan, fry the finely diced onions until translucent. Quarter the wiener sausages lengthways and cut into small pieces. Add to the onions and continue to fry lightly.
When everything is well seared, briefly heat the very finely chopped garlic and ginger. Add the tomatoes and applesauce to taste with sugar, salt, pepper and paprika powder (mild or hot).
Finally stir in the cream and cook for five minutes. Without sausage and cream, also for vegetarians and vegans.
