Instructions

  1. Wash the basil, pat dry and roughly chop. Peel and halve the garlic cloves.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan and fry the garlic until golden brown, then remove.
  3. Put the tomatoes in the pan and lightly season with salt. Simmer gently for at least 15 minutes over medium heat without the lid. If you want, you can puree the sauce afterwards.
  4. Finally, add the basil to the tomato sauce.
