- Halve or quarter the cocktail tomatoes depending on their size and cut the onion into fine cubes. Cut the meat sausage into large cubes or strips.
- For the dressing, mix together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, honey, salt and pepper.
- Put the tomatoes, onions and sausage in a bowl with the dressing. Mix well and let steep in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- Before serving, add the chopped basil and crumble the sheep cheese by hand and spread over the salad.
- Fresh bread, baguette or pretzel biscuits go best with this salad.
