Instructions

  1. Cut the tomatoes into slices and cover about 2/3 of a baking dish with them. Cut both types of peppers into rings. Dice the onions, mash the garlic, remove the thyme leaves from the branches. Roughly crumble the sheep`s cheese and mix loosely with the onions and garlic. Spread everything on the tomatoes, season with pepper, pul beaver and possibly salt (be careful, the sheep`s cheese is salty) and pour the thyme and a little olive oil over it.
  2. Cook in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes.
  3. Peel the sucuk, cut in half lengthways and place the halves in the baking dish next to the vegetables. Put in the oven for another 15 minutes, turning the sucuk every now and then. You can also add the sausages from the beginning, they will then be quite crispy.
  4. This is served with Turkish yoghurt, mixed with a little garlic, salt and possibly grated cucumber and flatbread.
