Cook the tortellini in salted water according to the instructions on the packet, rinse and let cool. Finely chop the garlic, mix with the vinegar, spices, finely chopped basil and oil. Wash the tomatoes and cut in halves or quarters depending on the size. Cut the mozzarella to the same size. Mix the pasta, tomatoes, mozzarella and the seasoned dressing together. Let it steep for at least an hour. The quantities given relate to side dish portions.
