Peel the bananas and cut into thin slices. Peel oranges and cut into cubes. Wash apples and pears, cut in half, core and cut into cubes. Place the fruit pieces in a bowl, squeeze the lemon and orange and pour the juice over them. Mix the yoghurt with the desiccated coconut and the vanilla sugar. Mix with the fruit pieces, season to taste and, if necessary, sweeten with a little sugar.
Let it steep a little, garnish with coconut chips if you like and serve chilled.
