Instructions

  1. Cut the leek into very small pieces and mix well in a large bowl with the meat, soy sauce, parsley, flour and a little pepper. Shape the mixture into about 8 cm long cones and stick each on a wooden skewer.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan and sear the skewers on all sides, then reduce the heat and continue frying until they are cooked through. This takes about 10 minutes, depending on the thickness of the skewers.
  3. Now glaze with the yakitori sauce and serve while hot. This goes well with rice, of course, but also a colorful salad or other typical grill side dishes.
  4. Tip: You can get yakitori sauce in Asian shops or on the Internet, it has a slightly sweet, smoky taste, but the yakitori also taste good without it. The yakitori taste even better fresh from the grill.
