Instructions

  1. Dice the onions and peppers and sauté them in the pan (with a high rim if possible) in plenty of olive oil, finely chop the garlic and add the chilli pepper cut into small strips (I remove the seeds beforehand). Dice the tomatoes and add them (if you like, you can core and peel them -> but it doesn`t have to be. Drain the capers and put them in the pan.
  2. Finally add the tuna, simmer and add 1 teaspoon. Add the oregano and basil. Season to taste with salt and sambal.
  3. Boil the spaghetti, place in a large bowl and mix the tuna sauce with the spaghetti.
  4. Totally easy to prepare and tastes delicious.
  5. The recipe is from the Maldives and I only added a little something.
  6. A fresh green salad goes well with it
