Ingredients
Tuna steaks – 300 g
Freshly squeezed lemon juice – 100 g
Olive oil – 100 g
A mixture of spices (preferably Chinese seasoning “5 spices”: cinnamon, cloves, fennel seeds, anise, Sichuan pepper) – 1 teaspoon. or to taste
Soak wooden skewers in cold water for half an hour. Chop the tuna into large pieces and toss with lemon juice, spices and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cut the onion into quarters, cut the zucchini into circles.
Make small kebabs by alternating tuna, tomato, onion and zucchini slices on skewers.
Grill the tuna skewers in a highly preheated cast iron grill pan for about 5 minutes on each side. Sprinkle the chopped cilantro over the skewers and serve.
