Turkey with vegetables is a great option for a light and healthy dinner, and if you cook the dish in the oven, it is also very easy to prepare! Turkey fillet slices are lightly fried, then baked with cauliflower blossoms, garlic, aromatic spices, and brightly colored pumpkin slices. Fast, healthy, and tasty. Try it!
Prepare foods from the list. Wash and dry cauliflower and pumpkin. Peel the pumpkin and garlic cloves.
Cut the garlic into thin slices. Turkey fillet – in large pieces. Cut the pumpkin into cubes slightly smaller than the turkey fillet. Disassemble the cauliflower into florets about the same size as the pumpkin pieces. The size of the slices can be adjusted at your discretion, but the slices should be approximately the same.
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over high heat, add fillet pieces, and lightly fry. About 4-5 minutes on both sides, until golden brown.
Sprinkle the fried fillet slices with salt (0.25 teaspoons), ground pepper (a pinch), and poultry seasoning.
Put the pumpkin and cauliflower in a baking dish (I have a dish measuring 32×22 cm). Sprinkle the vegetables with the remaining salt and ground pepper and mix well. You can also add your favorite herbs and spices if desired. Turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees.
Add the fried fillets and garlic to the baking dish to the pumpkin and cauliflower. Pour in 100 ml of water and the remaining oil and meat juice from the pan.
Cover the mold with 2 layers of foil or a lid. Place the dish in an oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake for about 40 minutes until the vegetables are ready.
Then remove the foil and brown the meat and vegetables in the oven for another 10-15 minutes.
Turkey baked with pumpkin and cauliflower is ready. Sprinkle chopped fresh onions over the dish and serve.
