Peel the onion and chop it into cubes. Peel the carrots and wash the zucchini, grate both in fine sticks. Cut the feta cheese into small cubes (real sheep`s cheese tastes best here - but you can also use other types, including reduced-fat cheese).
Put everything in a bowl and add the remaining ingredients. Knead well by hand so that a homogeneous mass is formed. Shape into meatballs and fry on both sides in portions in a little hot oil.
Makes about 12 pieces.
A crunchy, colorful salad goes well with it.
Melting the feta cheese makes the meatballs fluffy and creamy. They also taste great when cold!
Tip: Of course you don`t have to use ground turkey, but I think it goes a little better with it.
