Instructions

  1. Fry the turkey gyros on all sides in the oil until crispy. Dice the onion and fry with it.
  2. Boil the rice with the water until done, remove from the pot and set aside.
  3. Drain the vegetables and collect the broth. Melt the butter in the rice pan, stir in the flour, pour the stock over and stir well. Season with salt, pepper, nutmeg and the vegetable stock and let the sauce simmer for a few minutes. Add the peas and carrots and let them get hot.
  4. Add the rice to the gyros and fry lightly. Season with paprika if you like. Then add the vegetables, mix everything together and serve.
