Wash the turkey legs well and pat dry with a kitchen towel. Mix the oil, salt, oregano and 2 teaspoons of paprika into a paste, rub the legs with it and place in a large roasting pan. Fry uncovered in the preheated oven for approx. 45 minutes.
Clean and wash the white cabbage and cut into strips. Peel and roughly dice the onions. Cut the bacon into strips or cubes.
Take the roaster out of the oven. Place white cabbage, onions and bacon around the legs. Season with salt, pepper and paprika. Pour the hot water. Mix the crème fraîche with the tomato paste and distribute it in blobs on the vegetables. Fry everything together for approx. 60 minutes. Stir the vegetables in between.
