Instructions

  1. Cut the turkey meat into 8 escalopes, press flat, season with salt, pepper and coat thinly with Sambal Oélek. Then roll it up and pin it with toothpicks. Sear the rolls over high heat.
  2. Add garlic, ginger, lemongrass and chillies and fry briefly. Deglaze with coconut milk, stir in the créme fraiche and simmer openly for about 10 minutes, turning the rolls several times. Then season the coconut sauce with lime juice, salt and pepper.
  3. Remove the wooden skewers from the turkey rolls and serve the meat decoratively cut. (Wild) rice goes very well with it.
  4. Feel free to experiment with the spices, the amount can vary according to taste and you can hardly go wrong. Personally, I like it spicier and at the end I add some chilli or pepper strips, which also look very decorative in the white sauce.
