Instructions

  1. Soak the ginger in salt water for 10 minutes, then squeeze it to make it milder. Peel and cut into fine strips. Dice the meat. Wash and clean the vegetables. Cut the bell pepper into strips. Peel the onion and cut into thin rings with the spring onions. Peel garlic and chop finely.
  2. Heat the oil in a hot wok. Sear the meat vigorously, then remove it and keep it warm. Fry the onions until translucent. Add paprika, garlic and ginger and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes. Mix in the fish sauce, soy sauce, vinegar and sugar. Bring to the boil, stir in the meat and spring onions, season with salt and pepper.
  3. Vegetarian variant: use 400 g chickpeas (freshly cooked or canned) instead of meat.
