You need a coffee pot with a handle in which to make Turkish coffee. Another small pot can be used as a substitute.
Do not move away from the stove during preparation, as it can easily boil over.
Prepare 6 small mocha cups with saucers.
Add the water, coffee powder, sugar and cardamom pods to the saucepan on the stove on medium
Put heat. As soon as it gets warm, stir a little until the sugar has dissolved. Now wait (do not stir any more) until the coffee rises to the top. Before it boils over, take it off the stove and pour a little frothed coffee into each cup and then distribute the rest of the coffee in the cups.
Serve right away.
If you like, enjoy with sweet pastries. It can also be a salty pastry. It tastes good with baked puff pastry filled with sheep cheese and spinach.
