Instructions

  1. Pour the cubes of sheep`s cheese into a sieve and collect the oil. Cut the mushrooms into slices. Clean the peppers and cut into strips. Finely chop the garlic.
  2. Fry the minced meat in about 3 tablespoons of the oil that has been collected until brown and crumbly. Add half of the mushrooms and fry with them. Now add the paprika strips and the garlic and fry them.
  3. After about 5 minutes, stir in the crème fraîche and oregano and season with salt and pepper to taste. Put everything in an ovenproof dish and spread the remaining mushrooms on top. Finally, sprinkle the drained sheep`s cheese cubes and the crumbled sheep`s cheese on top and bake the casserole for 20-30 minutes at 180 ° C (fan oven).
  4. This goes well with tzatziki, flatbread and / or rice.
